Me like!
I'd love an electric 12...maybe there's a Fender XII waiting for me to buy it - somewhere...
:D

It is great, and I was surprised how light it is. The finish is beautiful, also- congrats to Tim, and thanks for bringing it by yesterday.

It's pretty cool. I wish I had any type of camera. Years ago I had an old girlfriend/graphic artist do up a Warmoth Strat body (cut out for just a single bridge humbucker) exactly like a box of Lucky Charms. I ordered a maple Warmoth neck without any markers. I had a luthier inlay Lucky Charms all up the neck (coated in epoxy). It got a lot of looks. Sigh; that was in the long-hair Rock 'n' Roll 80's.
What I would have done (and I did to mine) is get the All Parts Humbucker cover in colored plastic. I would have gotten the yellow on the guitar to match the hue of the yellow plastic. Then you could have continued the graphics over the plastic. I don't know if it affected the tone of the pickup, but it sure looked cool. This is all just random thoughts; it is still the most unique guitar I have seen in a long tome.

Re: Seusscaster
Very nice work!
Just wondering what those pickups are? Look sort of like Filtertron knockoffs of some sort. I'm not that familar with 12 strings, but was wondering why you set up the string pairs with the smaller string on top and not the bigger on top ala Rickenbacker 12's? Again... that's a sweet looking guitar!!! :D |

As for the strings, Rickenbacker's do it backwards. Any other 12-string I've ever played has the strings like I did mine. |

That, by the way, is one of the best ideas for a tele paint job. What a beaut.

Stunning stuff....
....you must more than proud! Do you plan to take it on gigs or is it too precious?

Nice
Great job. I love it. Have you seen Dweezil Zappa's Dr. Seuss guitar? I think I have a mag from the early 90's featuring him with the Dr. Seuss guitar. I loved the theme then, and I love it now. SWEEET!
