Gonzies first build final photos (Unfriendly tele design inside)
Ok eveyone, these photos are a bit late because i am too lazy to post pictures most of the time.
To the piont - here it is in all its glory (minus a headstock decal) There is a very early build picture which shows the routed cavaties which make this more of a thinline type, but since then the cavaties have been made much deeper and the neck pocket and pickup cavaties are now more defined. DSC00068.JPG DSC00018.JPG DSC00241.JPG DCP_6892.jpg DCP_6893.jpg The colour of the body is most close to the picture with the guitar headstock furthest from the camera lense (picture of it lying down) hope you enjoy! |

Sorry Gonzo. I was too lazy to login last night and look at the pics.
But, that is a nice take on a Thinline. I don't think I will ever attempt to make a hollow body. That's impressive for a first! I would have screwed it up somehow. I like the body contours too and the pickguard! |

Wood cap:
Its the wood thats on top, but too thick to be called a 'Veneer' top, which is usually just a thin(1/8th inch or thinner) slice of expensive pretty wood glued to the top for looks.

Sorta' looks like a strat to me, reguardless it's an excellant build. The F-hole, grain and color look really good together. Very nice!
