It kin be dunn (Tele/Strat bridge)

...I hadda couple of kwess-chunz (PM and email) about the Tele I sold tew joel Terry a few years back.

...He wanted this whammy bar equiped Tele but wanted tew noe iffin I could mount a sum-watt Tele bridge on it sew wye did.

...Here iss the weigh I had dunn it with a cheeeeeeep whammy bar and P/U mounted tew the body:

That's pretty awesome. does the cut-up bridge still deliver a nice tele sound, or a unique tone of its own?

...I haff ta admit I dent dew a true sound check on it after I installed the plate vs no plate nor did I compair it tew a nutter TELECASTER. I should haff.

...I hadda hurry and ship it out!

sorry if this sounds amateurish,but how about the springs at the back?er... a tele is originally with a hard bridge like a Les paul yes?

...Fenner did dew sum TELECASTERs with a Strat style bridge I.E. the Deluxe but I had never ceen a fully (Strat trem) equiped TELECASTER back whence I dunn that won. I'm sure they did it however.

Yeah, I've seen a pickup mounting ring for a tele bridge pickup before, so I imagine those without your metal working skills could opt to do that if they felt inclined to stratify their tele bridges.

I've been wanting to do a TeleStrat for some time, but put that idea away for a while. But last week I began to relic the homemade Strat I have. I wanted to get rid of the dolphin, and I kept the sandpaper moving until I could see the wood...

Anyway, I also decided to take it apart to sand it a bit more without hurting the hardware. Maybe that it would be the occasion to try your idea on a Tele body while the hardware is available

Very interesting.
