Did Fender make a 62 RI in the 80's??
and if so, what years?
Thanks, Joel

Thanks Richard.
I should have been more specific, but MIJ is what I meant. Thanks again, Joel

I have a '62 MIJ reissue that I bought used in 1991 and it was pretty well worn then so I assume it was born in the 1980s. It is honestly the best overall Telecaster I've ever owned or played and I've not modified it at all beyond a fret job and stripping the finish off the neck. It is a Bakersfield-sound machine.
