Green Teles?

Used to own a 70's green/metallic P-Bass. The color was just amazing.

I really think it would look cool to have a green/metallic Tele (especially a '72 Deluxe) with a Tortoise shell pick guard. Anyone own a Tele with similar paint? Have any pics?

However, there are some other really cool Teles on this page:

Ya start with a yellow Tele (a blonde Custom works well) and a blue Tele (JD models are exceptionally good stock). You leave them at one of the cheap motels on the outskirts of town (everyone knows what them places are all about) & leave them overnight. When you come back the next morning there should be a little green mimi-Tele right betwen them. In no time at all, it will grow into a full-size Tele. And ya really never know...with the proper nurturing it very well could grow up to be a 'baja Tele'.

As in all genetic experiments, explicit care must be taken in selection of pickguards, pickups, and fretboards...anything is possible. However, I must note: never, ever mix fret size as the result will most likely be a mongrel mix of thins & jumbos randomly located throughout the length of the fretboard.

Sorry folks, but this is what retirement can do to an individual. Sometimes I simply have far too much free time on my hands.
