New guy with an Agile Tele
Hello, Mike from Long Island here. Last week I copped a really nice white-cream colored Agile Tele with a fender brass three way bridge, and a sculpted head stock. Maple neck, with a little butterscotch varnish it looks like on it, that has faded on the fret board. Stock Agile pup's. Sounds great, looks great, feels great. Cleaned it up, threw on some new d'addario 10's. and I am loving it. Just wanted to say hello. I also own a esquire Scorpion, Black, single pup, one knob. It's a sweet playing guitar, but not as classy as a trad tele look, IMO. Thanks.

Welcome ...
... to the TDPRI, chef0069! This is by far the best place on the internet and a must for any fan of the Telecaster. You'll like it here.
Word of caution Mike: It could be highly addictive ... Enjoy! |

Thanks everyone, and yes I am loving this guitar!! It's got a smooth feel, yet backed up by a pretty heavy body, and nice tone. Now I gotta learn how to play better. All I know is basically cowboy chords, and a little pentatonic scale. it's hard to fit in practicing with work, and 2 kids runnin about. Started late in life, gotta make up time.

wouldn't surprise me if that's a nice tele... I've got an old Agile LP2500... from before they were forced to round off the horn and change the headstock... it's a great guitar... just beautiful... unfortunately I don't play it much because it's made of pure lead...

My friend has an Agile Les Paul (not sure what model, but its signed by a member of Megadeth...of course, its only his that's signed :P) and seems to love it. He plays mainly metal, but says he really likes the guitar. I'd like to get one some time, they're a lot cheaper than getting the real thing...
