Has anyone installed this on their tele before?

Specs here

Its a passive system that can be used to 'emulate' any guitar tone.

I wonder how a tele would look with 9 switches and 3 knobs.

3 knobs i've seen before on a few teles, but not 9 switches, like you said, it looks like from the control panel of starship enterprise.

How many weeks of flight training are required before you're qualified to use that thing?

Yeah, I thought the same Enterprise thing myself. If that tele doesn't get me to Rigel VII I want my money back.

I remember BB once said he had no idea what the controls on Lucille do.
He said "I just flip this or roll that until it sounds pretty."

I'd put that on a strat, but not on a tele. To me, the tele is all about simplicity in design and use...

Just buy a VARIAX if you want simulated guitar sounds.
a TELE is a TELE is a TELE.!!

If that thing works, stick it on a cheapo guitar, and make it sound like a Fender, Gibson, or whatever.!!

It 's got to be a farton control setup. They landed on earth back
in the late '40s after WWII.

Although it is an interesting tone concept, I agree with mojocaster.

There is a fine line between playing a guitar and playing with a guitar. Anyone using this contraption stands firmly on one side of that line.

good lord

that thing has more switches and knobs than some of my amps!

If you had that setup and a Mesa Boogie amp, it could take you days to dial in before a gig!
