Albert Lee Telecaster Question

Y'all know the Phil Kubicki Telecaster that Albert uses? The one with the butterscotch finish, Seymour Duncan pickups (humbucker in the neck position) and the B-Bender...

Anybody got a line as to exactly what pickups are in that guitar?

You should have asked a week back. He had a guitar clinic at my local dealer last Thursday, I could have checked with him.

Found some details here:
http://members.fortunecity.com/nrbq/
"This guitar was made by Phil Kubicki with Seymour Duncan pickups: AlnicoII custombridge pickup. The middle PU is a reverse wind and polarity strat (SD) pickup. The neck PU originally was a vintage tele rhythm, then replaced with a Jazz Model Humbucker for a cleaner sound. Lever switch is a 5 way strat type."

Geir :)

Thanks very much Telegeir!!!

You answered my question and gave me the answer the I suspected to be correct. I was most interested in the bridge pickup. I thought it would be an Alnico Pro II.

Anyone else have any thoughts about this? In addition, I know he prides his 53 Tele which is stock save for a phase switch. If it's a 53, would the brudge pickup more resemble that of a Broadcaster-type pickup?
