Hi Slack - I always view these as a learning experience. Evidently if you are using the word caution, there's things we should notice.
All I can wonder is should there not be a second string tree by '71, and I'm not sure if the date stamp is right for the era. Come on - either you or Fuzzy share a bit of wisdom. |

blue metalflake, to my knowledge Fender didn't make a 2-color sunburst at that time. He shows the guard off, so the red didn't just fade away. More telling though, is the lack of paint shadow in the neck pocket. The bare wood was painted over by the refin.
