pictures doesn't do it justice

So, I spent a lot of time trying to find the 'right' tele for me. I looked far and wide and unfortunately the one I wanted ended up being about 3500 bucks. It occured to me if I looked around I could probably have it built to my specs for a lot less. The difficult part would be the relicing. Anywho, Mario at Guitar Mill convinced me he could do the job, and two months later I got the guitar. Its a super light swamp ash body double bound relic'ed 3 tone sunburst tele. I snapped some pics, but honestly pics don't do it justice. Its unbelieveable how well the relic job was done on this guitar. I'm going to put Voodoo 60s in their and I'll let you know how it plays.

I've got another guitar ('ass-caster' I call it) where the guy did a very amusing relic job. Plays well but its not much of a looker. This on the other hand....

That's a beautiful guitar Paul.
Are you concerned at all that the pickup's might look too "new" ?

BTW if you don't mind saying, how much did this set you back?

The pickups from VooDoo are reliced. One of the nice things about going w/ voodoo.

The guitar was about 1,100 + pickups. Not a bad price :-)
