Hmm--how well did the wood breathe under all those stickers?

Funny - I alway thought of him playing a Strat.

I didn't see them play live but remember a few pictures.

I didn't listen to a lot of Chicago early on. Most of my friends loved them. But I really got into their version of "I'm a Man" so I was into TK. Looking back I did like a lot of the early stuff that rocked but they pretty much lost me with "Saturday in the Park"

More pop than rock from then on to me.

I was kind of thinking similar thoughts. How many people would buy a guitar with Pepsi bottlecaps hammered into it, no pickquard with exposed routing, and some lame 70's stickers on it? 2? 3?

Saturday in the Park was a low-point in the history of Chicago. When they lost Terry Kath, they really lost a lot of their vibe, and no matter how many guitarists they went through, they were never the same.
The combo of Cetera and Kath was special.

I'm not much of a Chicago fan but I liked the video...It reminded me of when I was a little kid and how everyone looked like that then....I like the guitar solo too......

Are you sure she didn't marry DONALD Sutherland? Kiefer would seem awful young for her.

My sentiments exactly!

And wow! What a thread resurrection! I thought it went the way of the Doh-Doh a long time ago.

idylldon is correct. From Wikipedia:

He (Kiefer) has one daughter, Sarah Jude, born 18 February 1988, along with a stepdaughter, Michelle Kath, from his first marriage to Camelia Kath. Michelle is the daughter of Chicago guitarist/singer Terry Kath. Sutherland's marriage to Camelia lasted from September 12, 1987 - 1990. In 2006, Sutherland became a step-grandfather when Michelle gave birth to a son, Hamish. Michelle, born in 1976, is just ten years younger than Sutherland. On June 29, 1996, he married Kelly Winn. They divorced in 2004 (the same year Sutherland got arrested the first time). He has two stepsons from this marriage, named Timothy and Julian Daily.

Bold and italics added by me, as well as (Kiefer).

I remember getting three songs for a quarter in the jukebox, at the pizza shop we hung around at, in the neighborhood. Couple of the guys I played in a garage band with. And two of the three songs, were almost always "I'm a Man" and "25 or 6 tp 4." I think the year was 1969. I was still saving-up for
my first Tele.

Hi folks. Newbie here. I stumbled across this thread today, and just had to share this Terry Kath video. Great concert footage from 1970 of "25 or 6 to 4" ... and Terry goes Pentecostal on that guitar for about 3 minutes.

It's a big file (almost 6 minutes) so you might want to start it, then Pause to let it fully load before playing it. You know how sometimes the big files on youtube will load so slowly.

Also, the audio is screwed up for the first 1:30 ...but be patient, it's worth it. Enjoy...
