Minneapolis TDPRI Gathering

After the great Minneapolis guitar shop threads, it's kinda become apparent that there's more than a few TDPRI members from the area. That said, I'd like to propose a TDPRI Tele-Fest for the Minnesota and Wisconsin chapters. I'll volunteer to do the footwork, ideally with a little help. I've also been able to secure a metro-area venue, if we're all in agreement it'll work.

Let's hear who's interested. I'm guessing that we'll be looking at either a Saturday or Sunday within the next month, time TBD. Real good!

I've been wanting to make a road trip to the Twin Towns fer a while.

But I think we should wait until after the World Series.

My shoulder should be good to go in a couple of weeks.
If it's sooner I can play lap steel.

That's the kind of good news we've been waiting to hear.

Let's see some more reactions from the MN/WI contingent and start the planning. As it stands now, post-world series, may be a good time to look at.

South Dakota reporting in here. If the date works and the money is there, I'd be up for a meet and greet! I'm not much of a player, but I suppose I could haul up a Tele or Esq and a Peavey Bravo or two.

However, I'm between jobs and my wife is recovering from a work injury, so no promises.

We should play a little, eat a little, drink a little - how's that for moderation ?

OK fellas. World Series is over, but we're in deer season. The weather is good, and there's a few weekends before heavy-duty holiday time. What's the consensus on a git-together?

I should be good for most dates, although my social secretary might have something on her calendar that hasn't made it to my calendar yet. Wait a minute - I don't have a calendar!

Just post a place and time. It would be fun meeting some more of you guys.

Dean

We could all meet at the Tab Benoit or Joe Bonamassa show at the Cabooze, maybe at the bar next door and have introductions. 11/18 or 12/2 ( I think )
