Tele-esque Guitars, My Collection
This is the first one I will post. She is known as little Megan named after my wife. Butterscotch Blonde, flame maple neck, Charlie Christian Pickup (soon to have Barden in the bridge), Glendale double notched magnetic plate, Earvana nut, and Torres Engineering Blues Harness.
This is a four year project that just got the correct neck yesterday. Now I know the traditionalists will have some problems with the Wolfgang body style and 3+3 tuners. But I think this is my modern tribute to Leo's design. The neck is a 59 contour USACG, the body 1 piece. I'll post the '80 Bluesmaster from Strings and Things Customs (some of the first folks to draw the wrath of Fender for making great clones in the late 1970's). Tell me what you think. |

Geez Odie, I like it. The lines flow beautifully. It is nice to see something a bit different. My guess is if I saw that guitar being played on a stage I would have to go up and ask about its origins.
Congrats.
