Help dating a 52 reissue

Just bought a used 52 reissue. I know the accurate way to date this guitar is to remove the neck and check the date on the neck. But I don't want to take the neck off right now. Can anyone give me a ballpark idea of the year if the 5 digit number on the bridge plate is 28XXX? Thanks.

I'd say mid-90s unless it has the "Dipple" then early 90s.

Take the neck off (or tilt), onlee way tew noe fur sure.
