$3200 at this point is a lot for some nice lookin' dice...
I'm sure it's a killer guitar, but part of the classic beauty (ya have to be a hard-core Tele-type, I guess, to call 'em beauties...) for me is the simplicity of a plain Bb Tele. Helps to put the focus where it belongs... on how good the music being performed is. Not how good the player looks holding the gear. I'm not putting down kids w/rich parents that can afford to stand in front of anything they want and play poo... that's fine. Good for them. What is best for me is to see some unlikely looking person holding a somewhat beat Tele unleash something raw and loud. Makes ya smile! |

I agree with TC7. For me, the beauty of a Tele is the raw minimalistic look it has. It is a workhorse guitar with a great sound and plays great, that is what a Telecaster is. YMMV

I think as a single inlay on the 12th fret, with correct perspective, it'd be an awesome inlay. I think right up the board is a bit much though. And 3.2 grand when it's not even "spot on" is a bit naughty.

Did someone actually pay $8000 originally? That's what the tag says. If so ........... not such a great investment. Currently $3201 with 23 hours to go.
Duncan ............... inlays or decals? Hmmmm......... nice rolled edges on that neck. |
