What do you get when you cross a Tele with a Strat?
Here's another one of those "everything to everybody" kinda deals...
Wierd, ain't it? |

Not for me!
Maybe I'm to conservative, but I just don't like the "other" fender guitar getting in the way of a Tele...
If I recall correctly, I think Fuzzy just built one himself recently....

The three knob control plate.....
Both scares and interests me!
Hmmm, how could I utilize such a strange configuration?

i don't mind it so much. it still looks like a tele, just a little more comfy to some folks. it's still got the classic tele styling, and i think that's hard to beat.
as far as guitars go, i think there's great tools, tools, and ugly tools. this one's tools. great tools is that 1950 broadcaster. tools is just about every other tele, including those with humbuckers or added middle pickups. this one's ugly tools. probably plays and sounds great, but they ruined the looks. that pickguard uglifies what's great about a tele, not because it's a half-strat shape, but because the lines are all wrong.
