Classic Telecasters for rock (alla radiohead)
I'm a singer songwritter that never really got into guitars so much. I love the sound of telecasters used for rock but I'm not sure what models are typically used for that purpose. Can anybody help me narrow my search. I love bands like radiohead (ok computer / the bends) U2 (joshua tree) Coldplay Jeff Buckley PJ Harvey REM The Wallflowers. I play through an vox ac 30. any suggestions?

Check out this thread,
http://www.tdpri.com/viewtopic.php?t...elecaster+rock The Telecaster can be used for any kind of music! Any model will play excelent rock, blues, country, jazz, you name it. Just get the right set up and you're ready to go! I myself play only rock and the Tele is the only electric guitar I can play. I've got two Standards (a.k.a MIM) and an American Tele (a.k.a MIA). I play through a VOX 15 pathfinder (I can't afford a AC30 :( ) and I just love it. BTW, Radiohead favors the Telecaster Plus, among other guitars. I have no experience with those guitars, but the band really sounds great!
