Thanks to Everyone for Making it a Success

We had a great time, as usual. Special thanks to John Bryant on drums and to Terry Rangno who filled in tremendously. Also our rotating bass players (Mike, Terry and Artie), and the 357 guitar players who all managed to get up on stage at the same time (slight exageration on the 357...just slight!). And to Steve Dunn, who not only took photos, he posted them on the TDPRI as we were playing (see below). And, finally, to my co-host, Rick Towne.

'Til, next time, keep twangin'!!!!

compared to our (7???) guitar onslaught at one point....
Joe thanks for pulling it all together and you too Rick and the "nice toys to look at department" those Surf Green Jerry Jones 12 string and Baritone were very cool...next time I really want to try your pedalboard full of goodies...
And Mur, what a treat to hear you stretch out on your CW bender..
Great to see everyone and hang out in the 100+ degree valley
and Stevie thanks for the realtime reporting
See you all next time........

7 Guitar onslaught? I counted 8!

That's right, EIGHT (8) guitars at one point! Ocassionally it got a lil loose, but those guys really did pull it all together more than anything!

I'm just bummed that I had such a snarling headache, and didnt much feel like playin. Hey, at least I got to hear you guy's lay it down, and BOY-HOWDY, with Authority, you guy's did!

Joe and Rick, nice job, and great to see you both again! Good to see you too Steve! And that new Gold Top, what was it a "Snake Head" headstock, and two P90's Tele was pretty cool too! I woulda thought it was a 54 LP Re-Issue !

Any how, it seemed that everyone had a good time, and hey, isnt that what matters most?

And Joe's amp!!! . .never tried a Bassman, his was awesome ..SF chassis in combo-cab, small w/Celestian 10s (I think) ..it screamed, responsive, fat, was loudest at the jam ..sorry for bein' a bull in a china shop guys ..anyway, I'd like one like that.

An Ebay Steal!

70 Bassman head (silverface that had been blackfaced) built into a 2x10 combo, nice black tolex and aged grill cloth. Yup, I replaced the crappy speakers with Celestion Vintage 10's. 40 watts of whoop-ass!

And Skydog, it keeps it nice and clean for you at high volume. Great for your Tele bender.
