"Big Lazy" is Back!!
Sorry that this is a little "off-tele topic," but I just heard that one of my favorite "twang/reverb/whammy bar/instrumental" bands is back together with a new album in the works. See, http://www.biglazymusic.com Their website is a little sparse, but has a cut off of what must be the new album, and a very nice video montage of concert footage.
The band has two great earlier CD's, but have been disbanded for a few years. I don't know the band, just love the music -- imagine if the Ventures had grown up in Brooklyn, listened to Talking Heads in the Village, and gone to NYU. Check them out (and forgive the guitar player for his Gretsch preference). |
