No mention of Brent Rowan???

Hiya fellas,

I've spent an enjoyable few days here looking at people's posts and the like, seeing whos influenced by who. There's been lots info about Brent Mason, Redd Volkaert, Danny Gatton, Brad Paisley and the rest of those wonderful pickers but no mention of Nashville telecaster ace Brent rowan This guys an amazingly tasteful player and a real Tele feind.

Come one, where are the Brent Rowan fans????

Twang it easy guys (oh and gals)

GS

p.s. My wife thinks i'm addicted to this board now

Hi Teledude,

Check out his playing on some of Gary Allens stuff...Nice
He's played on some stuff with George Strait, Randy Travis, Alabama... just a few that spring to mind. Sorry I read whos playing on the CD's I buy, my wife thinks I'm a bit sad
I just think he's a little underated as a picker

Hell, what do I know, I live in Stockport

When I was a staff writer in Nashville, Brent played on some of our full blown demos. Fantastic tasteful and creative picker. Not to mention a real good guy. When we had a couple of breaks, he showed and explained all the gear he had to me. Even let me play his Anderson Tele through the rig--pure heaven!

Watching him work in the studio was like a master class in studio guitar for me. I learned so much from him.

He was on the old "American Music Shop" before Brent Mason---really enjoyed his playing!
