I've done it - Hoooooooray!!!!!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I'd like you all to know that after a long time thinking about it, i've finally found a sweet little MIM Fender Standard Telecaster and have bought it!

Midnight Wine with maple neck, looks lovely in my opinion the only sadness is that i don't have it at home yet as i'm getting it properly set up the way i like it.

I just wanted to share a little joy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great news, well done! When it arrives I am sure I speak for us all when I say we want pics! But above all play her in the very best of health. Good to have another British Telespanker aboard the good ship tdpri.

Hey Dan,

Where are you getting her set up? I see you're in Watford - not too far from Hitchin, home of Machinehead. Their tech, Barrie Palmer, is absolutely superb. I tend to set up all guitars myself now, but when I've bought something special (or very expensive!) in the past, I've driven down there and left it in his capable hands. The man is a genius.

Looking forward to seeing some pics as soon as possible! Hope you have many, many hours of enjoyment from your new Tele. You do realise, of course, that the longer you hang around this place the more G.A.S. you'll get.... I can see yet ANOTHER purchase starting to appear in your mind already.....
