Anyone worked with Vintique (Jay) lately?

His website seems to be updated but I'm a little leary based on past performance. Just wondering if anyone has worked with him recently in getting parts?

If he wants to send my parts C.O.D. I will be more than happy to place an order with him.

He doesn't do anything that improves a Telecaster anyway, so why bother?

Not that I like to rattle the cages, but I do like the knobs he makes for teles...just don't want the hassle of chasing someone down for parts.

There may be nothing wrong with Vintique but nowadays there are also other options such as Callaham and Glendale, depending on what you need.

Jay is the only true supplier of vintage parts in the world .....by the time he sends you what you paid for,the darn parts are TRULY VINTAGE...doh
If you want to spend money with someone who gets by off the back of the late Danny Gatton,go for it,but Dale at Glendale is having a sale on at the moment,so i suggest you try him first. He also has a new range of knobs made of Heavy knurled alluminium.I bet Danny's turning in his grave at how Jay does business.
