Cool as hell Nice bit of picking there aswell

I got into this bending behind the nut thing a few years back, not to that standard of course but to a stage where I thought “yea, I'm a getting OK at this“. Then came the bright idea of using it live, which turned out not to be so bright cos I was a bit to keen and the string ended up cutting my index finger really badly with orible crunch, kinda like biting into an apple

Oh lordy did it hurt, not to mention looking a bit stupid aswell

Are these fingerstyle guys just TOO GOOD? Because virtually nobody's heard of Tommy Emmanuel, Adrian Legg, Pierre Bensusan or Doyle Dykes, etc.. Even Chet Atkins is usually recognized as "ahh that man who once played with Mark Knopfler on an album..."
To me, they are gods. The Elite.

Yes, that is an open G tuning. If you buy the latest issue of Guitarist Magazine, you get a free DVD with guitarlessons. Doyle Dykes is featured on that DVD, with Wabash Cannonball!
