Well I have emailed over 80 people selling MIJ and MIM fender teles on ebay asking if they would trade their teles for my Ibanez rg560 which is moded.

They all said no

But I hope to get that tele soon. Because I am in search for that twang

I'm not surprised. Ibanez...not a bad guitar at all - but it just has very little resale value if any (I guess you found that out).

Keep working at it....you'll find one. Even a used Mexican model can be found very cheap if you look....and they're nice guitars!

That's the thing! This Ibanez is worth over 600 and should have a resale value around 350-400. The MIM teles are going for low 200s

The Ibanez may have a high resale value, but you'd have better luck just selling it on ebay and tehn use the proceeds towards a tele. Most people on this site sell teles to finance other teles, or amps, or pedals, or whatnot. I wouldn't anticipate you'd have success getting someone to trade their tele for an Ibanez.
