Evolution of a Home Brew

Just upgraded the partscaster.

It started out as:

After a few necks changes and a pickguard change it went to this:

After a new Allparts neck in nitro and a Bigsby installed (thank you El Capitain!) and voila!:

And next to a recently purchased CIJ 52RI w/ Bigsby:

It finally plays really good. I fought with necks for a while then at last relented and had this one installed professionally. Turns out it needed to be shaved a bit because of the way the pocket was routed out. Live and learn. The neck was a great deal from Relicmasters via Ebay. Thanks again to El Capitain who supplied the Bigsby through the Garage Sale.

A Bigsby freak!

I haven't tried to use a Bigsby in decades. Got to play a friends Ricky with one. I didn't know how to work the thing though, and I don't think it was set up very well on the Ricky.
