Thank You All... (a newbie )

Hello everyone

I found this forum a week or so ago while checking out Bill Lawrence's site.

I want to thank everyone here, and at Tele-Tech, for sharing their knowlege, wisdom, and opinions, and for making this a place where a person of any level of ability feels welcome and respected.

I've played guitar on and off for many years, and am by no means a proficiant player. I only do it for my own enjoyment, and because there are some songs in me that have been dying to see the light of day.

Currently I have two guitars that I play regularly.

The first is a Harmony HG510 archtop acoustic, circa mid 70's. The other is an Aria FA-71 archtop w/ single Johnny Smith style humbucking pup, played through an Ampeg J-12T amp.

I fell in love the first time I saw a Telecaster in a Fender catalog back in the late 60's. Well, I finally took the plunge and bought a new MIM Rosewood Tele Reissue '02 from Dave's Guitar Shop. It should be arriving no later than next Tuesday, and I can hardly wait.

I know that I will be visiting this forum, as well as Tele-Tech, often and just wanted to introduce myself to the great group of people here at TDPRI.

welcome to our humble electronic haven. i'm sure you'll enjoy your time spent here just as mush as we all do. one nice thing about this site is there's no "snobs" here. your MIM will be just as appreciated as a Custom Shop. make sure to include pics when you get it!!!!!!!

I am also new to this site and don't yet have a tele but have been playing my dads who is also a member of this site (Steve Perry), and listening to a lot of Jonny Lang and I think I will have one soon. Anyways I would like to thank everybody in advance for the future annoying questions that I will ask!!
