No, No, no Les Paul! For some reason I have zero interest in any Gibson guitars.

This is a terrible thread!

I'm traumatized!

The mere thought will probably drive me to the Tele store (again).

A Fender bass.

Other electric guitars don't interest me.

Lately, I've been playing with a Jazzmaster some. Very different beast than a Tele.

But, truth be told, I'd play my ES-295 as my #1 if I didn't play a Tele.

I can't vote. There isn't a 'none of the above' option.

No Telecaster = No Fender.

No Telecaster = No Fender.
That's why I added the swan song option for those who can't cope with life without a tele.

Don't have one, but if I couldn't have a tele I'd want a Gibson ES-335.

Same as above. Got to get me an ES-E335 soon... Even an Epiphone would do once I have modded it.

I don't care for Les Pauls either. To my surprise my Gibson Melody Maker gives me the same kind of feeling I get from my Tele. Just a plank with 2 control knobs.

But since we're being brand loyal, next in line would be my Mustang. Easy to handle body, 2 knobs (and 2 pickups), plus it came with a nice chrome stick to keep the case propped open.

I love Telecasters, but I have no brand loyalty to Fender. If I'm not playing a Telecaster, I'm not playing a Fender.
