Now it's ready..

Finished the mods to my California series I picked up a few weeks ago. I was gonna go Esquire, but I had this GFS Dream 90 that had to go somewhere, and Man, does it sound good.
Added a Wilkinson bridge with compensated saddles, (came with six saddle bridge). Got rid of the annoying rattle from the bridge and really adds to the sustain and sharpness of the tone.
Reversed the control plate. I like having the volume up front and have no problem getting to the switch.

Now all I have to do is play it...

Nice work, it's quite a tasteful take on the subject. Kinda reminds me of what mine used to look like in more ways than one, before getting disected for other purposes...

And please play that lovely thing for us! *^_^*

Looks good.

I see people doing that thing with the flipped control plate, but I've never wanted to trip myself up by moving the controls. What's the advantage in doing that?

When I play, I usually don't change the pickup during a song, but do use the volume quite a bit.

Once you get used to it, It works well...
