Might be a bit expensive but...
I kinda like this thing. It's got a great look and vibe to it. I think the price is a little high since it's been heavily modded.

Cool Telecaster
This one really looked like a roadhouse Telecaster, played in a lot of bars and pubs. I liked the look of it, substitute hardware and all. My impression was that he really tried to tell it like it is: mods & exchanged parts not forgotten. I would never even dream of paying that price. You could find a very nice "working" Telecaster, with lots of vibe, for less. But somebody else may think that this is his/her dream guitar, and happily pay the price. Our milage do vary. I like it, but the seller likes it more.
(He sure didn't mind droppin' those names, and pictures.) |

Maybe I'm being too cynical, but....
...why, when stripping a Tele of paint, would you leave the bridge on and just scrape the paint up to it's edges?
Seems to me that the guy might be working the "old workhorse" bit a little too much Oh well... the auction's over. I just hope nobody got screwed. Steve Perry |
