Thin Skins??
Anybody have info on these? It's not on the website, but I saw and add for them in Vintage Guitar. Wondering--are the CS, how much do the run, anybody played them, do you think there is merit in this? Thanks

Check them out here! Nice, well worth the price. Almost wish I had waited to buy my '52 RI. If you're in this market range, worth a look. GW

love my "Pumkincaster"and its thick glossy finish that will last "forever". I'm certain that in 10 years time, my 52RI will look like new compared to one of those Thin Skins. But it shure looks like the real thing, and for those who want a Tele that relics faster, it probably is the answer to their dreams. 8) Strange to put on MJ frets though, on a guitar that otherwise looks so authentic. |

about $1400 plus shipping from Dave's Guitar in La Crosse WI
It is an astoundingly great Telecaster... for me anyways... beats all the other Custom Shop and Boutique Telecasters I've played or owned |

As a reference, my other main guitar is an Eric Johnson Strat and I have owned 7 other Tele's that were all "close" but always missing the secret Mojo factor. I have owned several 52RI's and a 8502 in the bunch. This one just "gets it". |
