Proposal
I'd like to propose some kind of memorial here at tdpri for spanky. He deserves no less for his exemplary contribution to this forum.
He was an inspiration to us all and should be recognised as such. Just my 2 'cents' worth

Yes!
That is a wonderful Idea! As I'm typing, I just thought about this, hopefully Paul will like it too! One of the Rev's favorite forums was The Sunday Morning SuperStars. How about re-naming it "Rev. Spanky's Sunday Morning Players". just a thought

I'm glad you guys approve. Although I never met spanky due to a large ocean between our 2 continents, he always inspired me to pick up my Telecaster. I just wish I'd had a chance to thank him for the inspiration the he gave to me and so many others.
My own father turned 53 yesterday, it makes you realise how precious life is, I'm glad that I called him and told him how much I love him. He's a Tele player too, I think Spanky would have liked him.

I didn't know the title had been changed, there's 5-6 hour time difference between the US and UK so it was probably done while I was asleep.
I know it's up to Paul, but I just thought it would be a nice idea.

I agree.
It is totally Paul's call. And as always, I always respect his decision.
