My new parts-o-esquire
I have a new esquire! It has a MIM "50's RI" white blonde body I received for my birthday from TDPRI'er Dhdfoster, (thanks again D.!!)
-Allparts "fat" neck -staggered-pole alnicoV 8K pickup my tech made from scratch - pickguardian firestripe tortoise 'guard -Wilkinson bridge -Gotoh staggered post tuners, so no string tree -CTS pots, CRL switch, switchcraft jack, esquire wiring with .0047 cap on the fixed cap setting. I'm very happy with it, loving the big Allparts neck with its 9 1/2 radius and big-ish frets, and it sounds and plays great. The overwound pickup makes for fat trebles, but it's not too fat so there's still some twang to the wound strings. Click here for pic Click here for pic with my MIJ 50's tele |

I like this
I like 9.5 necks
I love fat frets And that pup design is very similar to the spec of the Fender USA 62ri...which is my personal fav. This guitar is perfect. Although I would probably send it off to have a b-bender stuck in it one day.
