My dream Gig of the year

This quote from my daughters blog

Speaking of slammin', or should i say Jammin', Yesterdays second set at Heritage Day, kicked ass. Mostly because my dad sat in with his Telecaster and gave a new spin to our acousticness. We rocked out, and there was a lot more of an audience than at the Old Iron Spring. We even sold a few CDs. It was spiffy.

Yea, they had some goofy old man playing with them, but it really does not get better than that for me. I was honored to be asked to sit in, and proud to back her up. Sorry, but I can't help but crow about it.

very, Very, VERY COOL!
Being a father myself, I totaly can understand your feelings.
You must be very proud of your daughter. And she seems to be proud of her dad as well, 'cause according to her blog entry,
you were the reason why this gig "kicked ass"

Nice score Richard!! That's definitely a dream fulfilled, isn't it?

Hey, there's gonna be about a half dozen of us going to see NRPS on May 20th then going over to catch Bill Kirchen's 2nd set at the Ale House. Are we going to see you and your lovely wife there? C'mon over and you can put faces with a bunch more names!

And if you get there early save a table and guard it with your life!

Awesome! I have dreams of jamming with my boy. At the moment he's 5 and rocks out in his own special way. When he was 3, he'd call "band practice" and we'd all grab the pots & pans, his goober filled harmonica, his Fischer Price keyboard and his 1/2 scale guitar. Luckily I had the sense to video tape some of it.
