Grand Ole Opry Last Saturday Night

Anybody else see it? What were the pickups on the Tele used by the guitarist in Earl Scruggs' band?

And, BTW, anybody but me notice the hot fiddler playing with Bill Anderson? :D

John Jorgenson

That was his signature Double Telecaster with 4 single coil pups wired as humbuckers. Beautiful guitar! He was playing a purple one on the show.

That was Jorgensen? Jeez, I didn't even recognize him.

And the guitar looked black to me. Maybe I should start wearing my glasses to watch TV... :(

Why...this is reason to move from California!!!

I just dont get the Grand Ole Opry on T.V. here....been told there is nobody interested in it here in California. Even more reason to recall the Guv.
Would sure have loved to see that show with Jorgonson.

I'm pretty sure that putting CMT in every cable operators menu is one of Arnold's first campaign promises! :D Ward

If he does that.....

If Arnold puts CMT on here, he'll get my vote. Course I hear he may consider "Polka" to be "Country".
