Making Some Changes on My Tele

I have a Mexican Vintage Tele that I aquired last year from Fender Nashville. It's simply a fantastic Tele. Bill Bores installed a great BBender on it and I added an Eldorado leather pickguard.
Bill also wired the pickups for various fuller combinations.
I never quite fell in love with the neck, so thanks to Johnny Isaacs turning me on to the All Parts, I'm having the neck replaced with an All Parts FAT neck, which will be reliced up to look worn from playing like my old Tele with Ricky N. With none of the glossy crap that Fender puts on all their new guitar necks.
The work is being done up in Chicago with the help of fellow TDPRI buddy, Rich from Wild Rice Band.

You can see the guitar Im talking about on my post which is still up titled A COUPLE BURRITOS IN BASTROP.
Can't wait to get it back in a couple weeks!!! I'm calling it a Bendercaster, which is how it will read on the headstock.

I like the leather pickguard.

You'll have to shoot some pictures of the guitar when it's done.

I remove that gloss from a lot of my guitar necks just so that I don't stick to the things when I sweat.

John-

We'll make that neck feel right for you! Rich'll do the finish, I'm doing the install and setup.

And Pete, I'll be sure to post some pictures of it while I have the guitar.

Thanks!
