this Summer! I've been told that I might be sent there for some work-related training in July. I'll finally be able to see all the great musicians I've always read about playing down there.

I'm hoping to go next year (50th birthday), so, whens the best time to visit ?
Birthday is in March, would that be cool ?
Not particularly interested in SXSW, seems like its full of folk i can see at home.

Not interested in going to any trade show (NAMM). Just wanted to se if any of the Texas guys want to get together and play.
