Huh!!
I can't believe that it's seven years since the Flying Burrito Brothers played at the Canterbury-Hurlstone Park RSL, I introduced myself to John Beland, bemoaned the meltdown of the TDP and he told me about the TDPRI.
This site has given me a lot of pleasure and knowledge on my musical journey and I have met many wonderful people. It has been a real privilege to be a member. Thank you Paul and fellow members and here's to another 7. Happy Birthday TDPRI. The finest website on the web. Thanks a million Paul for all your hard work. When I began building my first partscaster, this place provided more valuable info than anywhere else on the web. I've learned loads here and continue to. I am now Telecaster addicted. My wife may not think it's a good thing, but .....
Cheers to the TDPRI!

Happy Bday
Paul,
there are days when you take stock of things you've done and determine if they are 'good things'... What you've built here is a really good thing. I've not seen an online environment that has this good of a feel and filled with such a great tone... Your leadership and guidance and the folks you've chosen to help you have resulted in this... Folks vote with their feet and the number of visits are a great indication of the community you've built. Congrats! Long live tdpri!

Happy b-day forum!
Been posting, too, since the original Noam forum (and helped buy him that Tele we got for him). I haven't been as fanatical since I was at the beginning but poke my nose in from time to time. Still have Esquires and Teles as my main guitars, though.... but most of my time is spent moderating the Orange amps forum... Billy

Yeah, I'm self-employed now and have been for about a year and a half... whenever I'm at work the TDPRI is usually on in the background... Thanks Paul (and everyone else) for helping me not getting my work done!

Thank you for everything Paul! God bless you and yours!
I've been here since the Noam days. I've told this before. My father died right before Paul took over. I returned home from his funeral in Arkansas only to find the old TDP GONE - #1. I HATE arguing. #2. My kids sometimes read over my shoulder, and my oldest (12) reads a lot of these posts. I know that there's been toes stepped on. Some feelings hurt. Many old timers have left us behind because of differences of opinions on how things should be done here. But IMO - Paul has done with this board exactly what I would've done with it. Keep it safe, and keep it friendly. God bless and be with those that we've lost over the years too. R.I.P. "Spyder" "Spanky" Steve Grant ... and whomever else that I may have left out. Thanks again Paul!
