What is this??
HI anyone seen anything like this before?
i can't decide whether i like it or not. Headstock is definately weird. rgds Cobra

There was some discussion on that tele before with the jury out on the headstock. It is a nice tele but I'd have to pass on it 'cause the headstock is a bit strange. In my opinion it really detracts from the over all look of the guitar. It would be interesting to know just how many Fender has sold.

It's the John5 signature model. It's on Fender's site and in the Frontline. I think they're kinda cool. Not my cup of tea especially but cool taking the Tele into the realm of modern metal guitars.
Of course many folks probably consider them an abomination. :D |

Lots of discussion HERE.
I hated it at first but it's kind of grown on me. Problem is that a Tele is a Tele is a Tele and not to have 6-in-a-line tuners just looks odd. If the neck was attached to a different body . . . . .
