My wife wouldn't LET me say no to this pink tele

This one just came in today.

Pardon the crummy picture - will try to take some decent ones tomorrow....

My wife has recently started taking guitar lessons and getting enthusiastic about the instrument. We were out watching some bands play the other night and a 69 thinline caught her eye. She was ready to graduate from the Danelectro U2 to something a little nicer.

I hopped on eBay to see what was out there, and saw a couple that were especially interesting, both in the limited edition colors. I showed them both to her, and of course she went wild over the pink.

I watched as this surf green one went for over $600, but couldn't figure why no one even bid on the pink one. I got in touch with the seller and made a great deal with a Fender HSC, and the guitar itself was mint with the plastic still on the pickguard. It sounds great, and is incredibly light - perfect for her to practice on and me to sneak in some sessions. I think I'll be on the lookout for a blue or green one now...

Those custom color thinlines are really a nice guitar. I wish Fender would run those custom colors in the 50's Classic tele

well, as the owner of the green one highlighted in the original post, I gotta say that I love them :)

As you may remember, I also tried to get this pink one, but you got it first. Good for you!

Enjoy :)

As an aside, the guy who sold me this pink thinline is also selling a pink paisley telecaster on eBay.

I have no affiliation with the guy - just wanted to put the word out because he's a trustworthy seller and is having to sell some guitars to pay some bills.

That looks like a hooker at Mardi Gras.

In a good way.
