about making a partscaster?

thanks for the replies. yeah i have thought about making partscaster. i think i'll do what pete said and go to a big music star and play them. i've played an anderson and there ok. i played a crook custom last year that was used at a music store in dallas and i think it's one of the best i've ever played. i'm leaning torwards this one http://www.gbase.com/Stores/Gear/Gea...px?Item=855171 what do you think? it's a suhr classic t.

Also, check out the Fred Stuart guitar posted in a thread here. Beautiful guitar. I'm a partscaster fella myself. After years of playing, I've figured out what it is I want in a tele style guitar and putting it together myself assured me of getting what I wanted. If I was to buy a new, higer end guitar, Lentz would probably get the call. Not the standard tele shape, but my oh my, what stunning guitars. From reading your post though, I think you answered your own question. If the Crook was among the best you ever played...there ya go. Again, no personal experience with Crook, but several here who own them, swear by them. Best of luck with your search. I hope you find the one that speaks to you in an honest and true voice. |
