My Buck Owens & Don Rich Tribute
I know there's already several posts about this, but I have a ton of Buck and Don pics of them singing together and I wanted to put something together. I know they're singing my favorite song to hear them sing together, Together Again in that perfect harmony that only Buck and Don could do. I'll let the picture do the talking.

thanks
Great photos, Johnny - thank you for your efforts.
To me the consummate one-two duo. I've idolized Don Rich for a long time, before I even knew what his name was - all I knew back then was Buck Owens and his Buckaroos. I got a copy of the Live in Carnegie Hall album and after that the the two of them were just like one entity to me. Now they are definitely together again, at last. |

Thank you for posting that Johnny. Regina picked 2 of Buck's songs to be included on the cd that was played before our wedding ceremony yesterday. Hearing them before the ceremony certainly "felt" different than it did the night before when I burned the disc. I was listening to a Buck cd yesterday while trying to eat before I left for the wedding. Honestly, I didn't feel like eating. I just sat here listening to Buck and wiping away the tears. I cried when Waylon died, when Johnny Cash died, and again yesterday when I heard the news. It hurts when you lose a hero. Thank you again Johnny. Joel

Re: My Buck Owens & Don Rich Tribute
Thank you, Johnny. From one Airman to another, I immediately printed your photo recollection off the site and now proudly display it (along with others) at my pad here in Las Vegas, right near Nellis AFB. Like you said, the picture tells the story and thank you very much, sir. If you're ever TDY here and want to jam, you'll see your post in a frame.....It's awesome!!!

Great!
I used that 1st one for my wallpaer the last time you let us see it. For my part I went to the jam yesterday and asked the band if I could do just ONE song to tribute Buck. I let the audience know the occasion and played the Buckaroo (seeing that I don't sing). I left feeling satisfied! More to come with Buck stories on a later thread post... Thanks Johnny.

Thanks guys!
I've been playing Buck non stop (and driving the wife nuts). His music means a lot to me. I'll put some more pics together if anyone is interested.
Let me know! Johnny Isaacs

Johnny You Helped Me!
Thanks pard. I have been feeling a terrible sense of loss but seeing Buck & Don together with Don's never fading smile brought peace to me. I love those two honky tonk warriors. We owe them a lot.
Thanks Buddy
