Nanowebs
Just switched guages to a .10, and strings to nanoweb reds. What a difference! Even though she played like butta before, Trudy sings, twangs and downright gets down now like never before.
Who else has had a huge difference when changing both brand of string and guage at the same time. By the way, switched from d'addarrio .09. |

me 3....
Except I play the .11 nanowebs on my gibson (GrrrrwowL) and the .10 on the Tele. I love the tone using the Elixirs, but I don't think everyone shares our enthusiasm. I asked about people's views on the elixirs a while back and got more negative than positive... to each his own. I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes the nanowebs 8)

nanowebs
Count me in as a fan - I know there are a lot of people that hate Elixirs and I am not as fond of the polyweb series but the nanowebs seem to do it for me.
I'm pleased with their tone as well as the overall string feel, not quite as 'greasy' as the polywebs. |
