A new tele comes home..

I just picked up a new Fender deluxe tele with the SCN pickups, S1 switching etc. Black, bound body..etc..
I didn't plan on buying it.. I grabbed it in the store to demo a Victoria amp but when playing it I just bonded with it. It is definately a good one where the marriage of the parts joins together to create an exceptional instrument.

If I just hide it in the rack with my other teles the wife won't notice.......Don't you guys tell her!!

Do you think she might notice the $1k plus hole in your checking account?

The new tele worked out great in a live situation this weekend. The S1 system fattens up the tone enough to get some great sounds when we were doing some Allman Bros. Used it with boths pickups, switch in center of course) and the S1 system engaged for the slide parts on Statsboro blues through my DR. Z MAz 18 with a Fulldrive II......sounded awesome.

A far as the $1000 whole in my wallet... by the time the wife discovers it I'll have it covered.

The wife and I had an agreement to save money
So I gave up drinking beer
Then I find a receipt for $80 for makeup
I asked her " Whats this $80 for makeup?
She's says "The makeup is so I'll look beautiful for you."
I said "Hell, that's what the beer was for!
