Pickguard before and after....
Thought I'd change my pickguard colour for something to do:

I love the pearloid on such rich-looking dark wood. Well, to be honest, what I love most is the wood. The white guard just seems to work better with it. That's just my aesthetic. I suppose thats why there are different guards and you can play with a black guard one night, a pearl guard the next, and maybe a nice brushed aluminum another night. (I think brushed aluminum on such dark wood would look *hot*)
