$4000 for a brand new Nocaster?

I was at Norman's Rare Guitars yesterday and spied a masterbuilt Nocaster. Built by John English to Norman's specs the thing was incredible. Norman was very gracious and actually asked me and my freind to "please play the guitar tell me what you think".

I think it's probably the finest piece of Swamp Ash I've ever seen wide spaced, straight grain. light as a feather and sweet twang and jangle up the wazoo. The neck was still big and fat but more of a C shape than the standard U shape with a bit flatter radius and beautiful fretwork.

It's probably the nicest tele type guitar I'ver ever played and my freind the PRS guy was impressed at how balanced the tone was and couldn't believe how light it was.

I hate the idea of a Telecaster costing so much but if I were a rich man I'd have walked out of the store with a new guitar.
