Read at the very bottom of the page some instructions for Blond finish. Can't vouch for them as I have not done this.

I did a "Mary Kaye" blonde finish on a swamp ash body last year using nitrocellulose & it turned out beautiful. I bought some white pigment & a quart of nitro from stewmac & also a Dan Erlewine video entitled Basic Spray Finishing Techniques. In it, one of the topics he shows you how to do is a MK blonde & I pretty much followed that procedure. Basically, you mix some white pigment with clear for your color coat & follow that with clear coats after doing the prep work of course. Be forwarned however, that you must be patient & realize that it is quite a bit of work, at least for a first timer. It's doable though & something you can take pride in having accomplished it yourself.

Whatever you decide, Reranch makes it easy. Just read through "Reranch 101" for the sections that apply to your project, and if you still have questions, there's a fine bunch of fellas on the forum over there who'll help you along and inspire you. Fair warning though: you could get hooked - I thought i'd make one a few years ago, and now I'm working on my 12th!
