Attention lefties!

Nice left handed Tele on eBay.

These are great Teles. Between the pickups, hardshell case, and that BIN price I'd own it already if it were right-handed. But now I can appear benevolent passing this along to a TDPRI brother or sister!

thanks for thinking of us "back-asswards" folks

I'm not in the market, but from all of us southpaws...

thanks for keeping us in mind. :D

Nice to see that the MIJ's hold their value pretty well.
(Maybe I'd get a decent price for the lefty 1987 MIJ CAR '62 RI Strat that I don't play much anymore.)

Rufus, right now the MIJ stuff, particularly from the 80s, is riding the crest of a major wave. Don't know if it's a fad or there to stay, but it's showing no signs of letting up. Fenders are definitely on top, but I've seen a few Tokai teles go for 5 or 6 bills. Fernandes seems to be getting discovered and now they're playing catch up.

I'm sure you could get a very nice price for that Strat. Mid 80s MIJ Fender almost seems to be a mantra these days!

ah actually , I really don't like somebody pointing out that there is a lefty on e-bay, It tends to drive up the price

That said, I too have a 1987 Candy Apple Red '62 reissue LH Tele MIJ. I've changed out the PUPs to Texas specials, and added 3 brass saddles.

I'm glad to see it's "held it's value" but I would not part with it.

I hope it was someone from this page! Anyone? Class? Buehler? Anyone?

The HSC and Nocaster pickups are worth $150 putting the guitar at 4 bills. A MIJ '62 Custom RI in that shape for $400 is at least a good buy, I think better. But for a lefty? Taint never fair for those folks so I hope someone got one of their dream guitars at a great price.
