tele necks by mighty mite

I'm wondering if any one has tried the mighty mite necks? I'm building a partscaster and got one on e-bay pretty cheap. It looks great, but I really don't know much about them. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks, stratpicker50

I too had questions about those necks after seeing them on eBay. You can read about it here.

I just bought one too...

I installed a maple/rosewood one on my Saga tele that I painted red. I drilled the body for string-through while I was at it. It's a sweet player now! All I need is amp knobs and my Muddy-wanna-be will be complete!

Enjoy...

I used a Mighty-Mite P-Bass neck on a friend's bass. It had bad fretwork, sharp fret ends, and the "finish" they put on it is not worthy of the name. Put more on. After a few hour of screwaround I was able to get it playing and feeling allright.
