Ruttles/Dave Barry
I watched The Ruttles: All You Need is Cash again the other night. I love the movie. Any film that has a black guy from Mississippi claiming that Lawrence Welk stole all his ideas is sure to live forever. My problem is that I can't get the songs out of my head. I know that Dave Barry says that our brain's highest priority task is repeating bad songs endlessly, but it should be easy to get rid of these. I worked on playing Help for about an hour (the opening riff is a great cross-string alternate picking exercise). But the parody Ouch! is still in my head. What do I do?

Hard to believe
that it was originally on NBC...seems so out of character for a network these days...and who can forget Leggy Mountbatten's mother..."Yes...their trousers were very...tight...left nothing to the imagination..."

get up and go back home
was running through my head yesterday, and I haven't seen the movie in years.
The George H character is a riot. My brain has also been playing 'that's amore' after going to a great Italian wedding last week and screaming it at the top of my lungs. The brain is a scary thing indedd.
