Ishibashi alert!

There is a nice nice nice CAR Fender Japan TL62B-75 TX in the Ishibashi U-Box, price shipped is about $390.

You can't beat that price with a stick. Put a set of Hamels in that beast and you have a guitar.

Do a search for TL62B-75 TX and it will come up right away.

I don't need another guitar (J loves it when I say that) but I wanted y'all to know.

Ishibashi U-Box

Edited to fix link, sorry. Looks like it's gone. Someone must have snapped it up.

You're killing me, Pete...

Knock it off, fella! I'm trying to cut down on my Ishibashi/Fender Japan habit. :P

Man there is some nice guitars on there. There is an Epi 56 Goldtop for $295 Canadian. Those guitars are like $600-700 new here.

I can't find it on their site... though I've found a bunch of P basses that have caught my eye! What's the conversion rate though, and typical shipping costs to the states?

Also, since they're used they have descriptions of the condition - but I can't make heads or tails of them b/c much is lost in the translation!

The site is difficult to navigate for us foreigners. :(

Try this link, one I saved that has several models, including the TL62B-75 TX. The pic I see is burst, but I see where CAR is a choice.

"Castamuterecastar '62 version equipped with Texas special picking up."

But that's the new one, selling for 60,000 Yen = $520 USD, plus shipping. The original link I think was for a used one, at a much cheaper price. I guess it sold.

Reading through that webpage and trying to understand the translation has messed with my head! Now I can't type a sentense properly! Doh!

OMG - They sell a Jaguar bass?!

"Unique face and jaguar base with looks of Eigedoparl block position specification and original style based on jaguar. It has a tone cooking stove wide with an actively passive switch with Cacoki of ..vintage.., and picking up series switch that obtains the connection of the series of the problem picking up and the bridge picking up, in addition so-called the ham backing sound, also sets, and boasts of a multifunctional sound variation. "

I dunno what they just said, but the specs show it to be the same scale length as their other basses. Looks beautiful!! Here's the link. It looks like it's out of stock currently. I wonder if this will ever be available in the US, or if we'll just have to order from Japan directly?

Jag Bass!

They've got a Gatton Tele. I wish I had $2500 burning a hole in my pocket.
